Once you have gone through the previous post on blog commenting , Continue reading with this one.
Here we will discuss, how to find relevant blogs to add comments. When you are looking for link building , It is recommended that you work on relevant blogs only. While it is easy to get a list of blogs from here & there, But it is not of much value to your efforts if you build links from random blogs. You won’t get targeted traffic, Bloggers consider it as spam & don’t appreciate . Even if your links get approved it doesn’t add much value to your SEO efforts because they are not relevant.
Here is a Step By Step Procedure to become an active well respected Commenter in the blogosphere.
- Use google blog search http://blogsearch.google.com. Search for your target keywords.
- Go to http://technorati.com & search for your target keywords.
- visit blog catalog directory http://www.blogcatalog.com/directory (One of the largest blog directory).
- Visit all the top results on all these places.
- Add comments manually to these blogs.(Commenting Tips)
- Most of the blogs show their most active blogposts on their home page, Visit them & add a relevant comment.
- Subscribe to the RSS Feeds of all the most relevant blogs in your niche.
- Create a Google Alert for your blog search.
- As & when you get updates about these blogs, Be one of the first people to comment(that way your link will appear on top of other comments.), But make sure your comments do add value to the blogger’s post.
Since the evolution of Internet, People have been posting articles, news & stories. Eventually as time has passed away these websites are being identified as Blogs, A blog is the best place through which one can express his/her ideas,Emotions & share his viewpoints with rest of the world. At times people allow others(Members) to comment on their blogs. Its in a way a great opportunity for everyone else to share their views about blog and a good way to share knowledge.
If taken seriously & done properly, Blog Commenting can help you build links & bring a good amount of traffic to your Blog/Website.
Many blog owners allow their readers and visitors to comment on what they say or what they post. When these people comment, usually they can post with their name and website address(URL) and what the they think about the post. Their name will be linked to their URL and they just have created an inbound link. If only it were that simple. This actually is a bit more complex, Many blogs use NoFollow tag with URL links, so in that case even though you create a backlink, Search Engines do not pass any link juice to your sites…..
However NoFollow blogs have their own advantage, Imagine what if you have a high traffic blog & you have your link placed on a high traffic page?
It wont make any sense would It ? Nofollow blogs are in a way good because almost all the big blogs are, Nofollow , Which means that the amount of Spam would decrease, Secondly if you add value to the blog post by posting a relevant comment, Nothing like it… You are adding value to the blog being genuine and also,You are actually building reputation for yourself in front of other blog readers.
Here is a Quick List Of Do’s & Dont’s about blog commenting:
- Do not SPAM.
- Do not post mass comments on the same blog, i.e. Do not add a comment to each & every post on the same blog, The blog owner might just consider,You as a Spammer.
- Do not post the same comment on a sequence of blogs, Reason being, Not all the posts on different blogs have the same content & akismet.com(Yes The Spam Filter From Word Press), They simply block off all your future comments, Without even asking the blog owner.
- Interact with the blog owner or other blog members, It is beneficial. It builds networking and relationships as well. When blog owners post content, they like other people telling them what they think or give their own views and opinions, Also some of them really don’t mind to give a link and not only a link, but a link which gets value from the search engines provided they are receiving genuine and valuable comments for their posts.
Getting traffic from Facebook is a lot easier than anything else, that too using white-hat method, Although it will cost you some $$$, But in turn the returns are great.
- The Idea is to Create a Niche Targeted Fan Page. i.e. Garden Expert(Assuming your niche has something to do with Gardening tools). But remember to keep a name that will show as if you are some real expert/person who just wants to help people with free tips etc…..Do not show your commercial Intent in public.(Some of the names can be shoe maker, Movie Critic, Joke Guru, Domain Guru etc..)Do not use brand names or individual celebrity names, Because your page will just get deleted, If you will not be able to prove that you represent the brand or Celebrity.
- Keep on updating some of the best insider tips, Secret tricks etc… That only an experienced expert would know or share something that every one in your niche would love to know. Let’s say some Fertilizer’s that will help them to grow their plants faster, something that will help them protect their garden, Some gardening tips to gardening related problems.“Remember Do Not Spam”.
- Once you have some considerable wallposts on your facebook page. Start telling your friends to become a fan of this page, & to comment on your wall posts.. This will spread your message to all their friends as well (Since Facebook Users get an update on their home page about their friends activities on a daily basis).
- Now start running an advertising campaign on facebook about your page, you can choose between an appropriate ad model. CPC or CPM.
- You can find a very nice article on reducing your ad budgets by checking on this link.
- The advantage of running a facebook page ad campaign is that you can build instant fans, These fans are like double option targeted subscribers you just need to post on Facebook page wall once & all your subscribers will see the updates on their home page.
- Slowly & steadily once you have a decent amount of visitors on your page(At least a couple of thousands). You can start promoting your website on your page, Do not over do it, That your fans feel it as burden to see your messages, Rather stick to one message a day. At the m0st 2 messages per day.
- Do not forget they are sort of opt-in, so if you spam them, you will loose them, So be careful & do share some good tips in between your links…
This is indeed a tested and proven method,I myself received clicks for as low as 0.01$ & CPM rates were great i just paid 0.02$ CPM.
Since facebook as an Adnetwork is still growing, The advertising costs are pretty less. Start leveraging facebook ethically, Before your competition does….
